The alleged Islamic State group has published an audio message so that they claim that the message is from IS leader Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi.
However, there was no video or picture with this message published online.
Before that, an audio statement of Mr Baghdadi was found at least one year ago.
It was then thought that Baghdadi had died.
The latest audio message also contains recent tensions between North Korea and the United States.
That is why it is assumed that the message of about 46 minutes is contained in recent times.
Washington says they check the message, but there is no doubt about its authenticity.
A US military spokesman said their ideas continue to be that Mr Baghdadi is alive.
In this message, the IS leader Baghdadi also spoke about the conflict in Iraq.
