Aung San Suu Kyi has urged the British Minister Mark Field Rohingyas to take all possible steps to ease the suffering of Rohingya, who first visited Rakhine as the representative of a Western country after fresh violence in Myanmar.
The UK State Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Mark Field said that the United Nations has called for the human rights to stop the violence in Rakhine, the Myanmar leader will respond to it.
On the way back to democracy, the progress made by Myanmar over the last few years, he warned that the Rakhine phenomenon could be disturbed.
Since the start of the new army operation, about five lakh Rohingyas have fled to Myanmar since August 25, and have taken refuge in Bangladesh. The United Nations has identified the operation as a 'ethnic cleansing campaign'.
